Moleskine Detour at One World Observatory

Harman Projects is pleased to co-host "Detour", a traveling exhibition featuring customized and decorated notebooks by internationally recognized artists, architects, film directors, graphic designers, musicians, illustrators and writers. Visitors to Detour NYC are invited to explore and discover each author's creative process as it unfolds within the blank pages of a Moleskine notebook.

 

For the Detour NYC exhibition, the Moleskine Foundation and Harman Projects gallery invited a curated group of artists to be a part of the exhibition and share their unique vision. Each participating artist donated their notebook to the Moleskine Foundation Collection, adding a new layer to the ongoing conversation around the role of creativity in generating change.

 

The exhibition is comprised of a total of 75 author-made notebooks from the Moleskine Foundation Collection that tell a story of how creativity can be a transformational force for both individuals and society. The notbooks will be on view at One World Observatory located at the  top of the One World Trade Center, where we celebrate the role that creativity has in shaping not only New York, but the entire world.
